Terms of Service & Cancellations
By entering into a service agreement with Robyn Battley Makeup Artist (the seller) you (the customer) agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service and sale.
From here on ‘you’ refers to the customer/client and ‘us’/’we’/’our’ / the seller refers to Robyn Battley Makeup Artist.
1. PRICING AND TERMS (WEDDING BOOKINGS)
1.1 Quotes
Quotes are valid for the services specified in them and for 14 days from the date of the quote. Alterations may incur a cost rise, which will be reflected in a new quote. Please bear in mind that all quotes made are made subject to the terms and conditions of the sale and service.
1.2 Price
The price payable for the services is as set out in the invoice. We reserve the right to change the prices shown at any time and will contact you beforehand in the event of any alterations being made.
1.3 Deposits
Once we have sent an invoice to you, the deposit fee is due 14 days after the date stated on the invoice. If for any reason you are unable to provide a deposit, your reserved booking date will not be confirmed. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposit payments can only be paid to us via bank transfer or PayPal. Deposits will be deducted from your final total.
1.4 Confirmation
Booking confirmations will be sent out to you via email. The due balance will be dated and the full payment is required 14 days before your booking date.
1.4 Mispriced services, Misplaced Decimal Places or Otherwise
If, by genuine mistake, we have under-priced a service, we will not be liable to supply the service at that stated price, provided that we notify you beforehand. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to go ahead with the service.
1.5 Loss of earnings
We cannot, and will not be held responsible for any loss of earnings, real or projected, as a result of a service not being as expected.
1.6 Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking all deposit payments will be lost. Where possible please give us as much notice as you can. If you cancel less than 14 days before your booking date 100% of your balance will be due. If you cancel less than 30 days before your booking date 50% of your balance will be due. Any time before this will be just a loss of your deposit payment.
In the extremely unlikely event that I am very ill, injured or have a family bereavement and I am unable to do your make-up on your booking date then I will do everything possible to find you an alternative make-up artist. If however, this is not possible then I will give you a full refund of your deposit/payment. Please note this is extremely rare and has never happened before.
1.7 Travel and Accommodation
Travel fees will be stated in your booking confirmation and invoice. If parking and accommodation are required, this will be expensed by the client.
1.8 Included in Service
Bridal and Wedding Party makeup (excluding flower girls) includes: skin preparation, full makeup application catered to your skin type and PrimaLash© false strip lashes (if required). No reduction in price if you opt out of the false strip lash application.
Flower girls/ mini bridesmaids (under 10) makeup includes: skin preparation, eyeshadow and lips.
The brides makeup pricing includes myself staying until you are ready to walk down the aisle. If you would like us to stay until photographs have been taken so we can provide any touch ups necessary, an extra fee of £10 will be charged.
2. CANCELLATIONS, NO SHOWS & LATE FEE POLICY
2.1 Cancellation and No Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, 48 hours notice needs to be given. If no notice is given prior to this time frame then a £10 cancellation fee will be added. If you cancel on the day of your appointment, you be will asked to pay 50% of the full amount for the service booked. If the fees are not paid, no booking will be accepted in the future.
2.2 Late Fees
If you show up more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the services booked will not go ahead and you will be charged a £10 Late Fee. If the fees are not paid, no booking will be accepted in the future.
3. ADDITIONAL TERMS
3.1 Allergies and Medical Conditions
If you have any medical conditions, sensitivities or allergies of any kind, you must make these known prior to your booking and / or trial. Robyn battley Makeup Artist can not be held liable for any losses incurred due to the client’s failure and inability of advice of any known/pre-existing conditions.
3.2 Confidentiality
All information supplied by either party to the other and identified as confidential by the recipient shall be kept strictly confidential by the recipient and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the others prior written consent. All confidential information and documents supplied to either party shall be returned to the supplying party on expiry or termination of this agreement. The obligations of confidentiality in these Terms and Conditions shall remain in force after expiry or termination or any relationship between you and us.
3.3 Governing Law
The contract between you and us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any arising disputes.
